June 1981 – Mommy’s Piggy Tales
As some of you know, I started writing my “story” this year. I joined a group called “Mommy’s Piggy Tales”. I found the group half way through so now it’s time to start from the beginning. Sportin’ the faux hawk almost 30 years ago. I was born in June of 1981 to John and Susan. […]
days
I thought that I would clear some things up. I have my days where, I’m not productive at all. There are dirty dishes in the sink, laundry piled up, no supper made, toys all over, and (to top it off) I have a less than desirable attitude. I don’t craft or sew everyday. Some days, […]
apple printing
Ok, so this might be a little old-school, but I think the end result is cool. It reminds me of a craft we might have done at vbs or something. But remember, it’s all in the packaging… …am I right? Tie up a little set of notecards with a brown ribbon and you have yourself […]
Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who came out for the Spoon River Drive! It was great to see some old friends and new customers! I even had a repeat customer that was carrying her MoreyGirl bag from last year! One more weekend of the drive, then I’m putting my goods back up for sale in my […]

day out at the mall
We went to the mall yesterday with Matt. That’s right, Matt went to the mall. But only because he wanted a new pair of cowboy boots. (hahaha) There was a photobooth right outside of the store and Matt is a slower shopper than I am. So the boys and I went out and took some […]
a little weekend inspiration
I painted my living room a few weeks ago. It’s “sharkey gray” from Martha Stewart at Home Depot. It looked gray-er at the store. At home on the walls, it’s a little more taupe. But I really love it. I also painted my woodwork white. Everything looks so fresh and clean now–that is, until someone […]
just zippy
Getting ready for the Spoon River Drive. It goes on the first two weekends in October. I grew up just a mile from the Spoon River, so the drive is something that I grew up with too! You have to come, eat the food, and buy some handmade goodies or some antiques! I will be […]
