our wildly artistic God

30 August
Did you read your book this week? Remember? Here’s the link!
Well, this week we were to reflect on all the amazing-ness that is God’s creation. How He made each and every molecule. That He had a purpose for everything. That no thing was an after thought.
I am amazed at all of His creation. Look at these:

Just fruit and vegetables are amazing, I think. That a seed can produce a plant, plant produces a fruit, fruit produces a seed. And none of them are alike. Every single fruit has a distinct flavor and color.
Then, on top of all of that marvelous creation, He created us, in His own image. And we can take those amazing things that He created and use them…
and eat them…
and create with them…

and be inspired by them!
How thankful am I that He did not make everything in black and white and feed us manna everyday. That He put in us the desire to make something with our hands, whether it be with fabric or with food. That He loved us enough to do all of it for us.

Great insight! I agree 100%. If everyone would just take the second or two to see the daily small miracles in front of us, life would be so much better/easier/sweeter.

    Love ya, Hez!
